In general, measurements are taken from examples in the editor's collection, except as noted. . If you can supply data for missing models, please help me out. Thank you.

Bliss and ONeil

Rufus Bliss made only Inchers.

Bliss and Co made Inchers, and used No X to distinguish models.

Bliss Mfg Co used No X, and 8xx to distinguish models.

ONeil used only 8xx to distinguish models.

The dimensions apparently remained unchanged as the company re-organized several times. The change over from Inchers to Numbers to 8xx can not be well determined.

Notes

  1. Thanks to David Hassel for sharing the dimensions of his examples.
  2. I have seen a couple examples with extra-long spindles, obviously original. David Hassel says that other catalogs have fine print offers to customize in case lots. But why this special order?
