W = whole clamp

J, JS, JT = Jaw(s), Stopped, Through

S, SS, ST = Spindle(s), Stopped, Through
synonyms: terminal - stopped; central = through
"t" is an ambiguous abbreviation

T, TS, TT = Thread of Spindle, Stopped, Through

H, HS, HT = Handle of Spindle, Stopped, Through

E, ES, ET = End of Spindle, Stopped, Through

C, CJ, CH = Chamfer, of Jaw, of Handle

L = Label

M = Maker's Mark

O = Owner's Mark
